Our job often takes us to locations few would venture to (unless on vacation), simply because our suppliers are located where the ground never freezes. If the opportunity arises, we have even been known to bring in speakers/educators & share them with our competition! In March of 2000 Jeff Neuschwander, president of Plant Professor, got the wild idea of brining in a hired gun to help further the company's knowledge. Internationally renowned lecturer and speaker Linnaea Newman was contacted. To make the lengthy story a bit smaller, Jeff organized a one-day series of seminars covering everything from accounting to sub-irrigation. Over one hundred attendees made it to town from over thirty companies. This was a great chance for local & not so local interiorscapers to discuss ideas and help their companies grow. Your Education Plant Professor began as a residential consulting service. We still perform these duties on a one on one basis at your home or office. We also present lectures on plant care for larger groups. If you have a question, always feel free to ask. |
